Welcome to My Educational Portfolio!

 
Welcome!  My name is Rachel Florek, and I am currently a Senior at The College of William and Mary.  In May of 2008, I will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Elementary Education Certification in K - 6.  Throughout the past year, I have completed two semesters of practicum experience (focusing on four main content areas) and have recently completed a semester-long student teaching experience.  Through William and Mary's program in the School of Education, I have mastered the six competencies and four conceptual framework areas.  In my electronic portfolio, there are narratives and artifacts to support this mastery, along with fun experiences I have documented with my first graders at Magruder Elementary School.  I look forward to continuing to teach in the Fall of 2008.
